Racer Fans invited to Selection Sunday party

The Murray State Racers are in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament for a second-straight season and the 17th time in program history, following their Ohio Valley Conference Tournament title over the weekend in Evansville. The event is sponsored by Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB).

Murray State Athletics invites all of Racer Nation to be part of the fun on NCAA Selection Sunday, March 17. Fans can come out to the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky when the doors open at 3:30 p.m. All fans are asked to enter the arena through the lower or upper doors of Gate-A. These entrances are where the large outside video board is located. Admission is free and a great time is sure to be had by all as the Racers learn of their NCAA Tournament assignment.

A live pre-selection show on Froggy 103.7 FM (Froggy103.com) will begin at 4 p.m. and features on-stage interviews with Racer coach
Matt McMahon and many of the Murray State players. There will also be feature videos including the Journey to the Tourney video which highlights an amazing season of 27 wins for the Racers.

The 2019 NCAA Tournament field will begin to be revealed at 5 p.m. on CBS and the excitement will build to the moment when the Racers find out their seeding, opponent and game location. Fans will be able to watch the CBS show on the center video boards in the CFSB Center.

Concession stands will be open at the CFSB Center as well.

One of the big items every Racer fan will want to get Sunday is a MSU OVC championship t-shirt. Short sleeve t-shirts will be on sale for $10 and long sleeve for $15. The t-shirts are limited and will be sold on a first come-first serve basis.

The first 1,000 fans will receive a free OVC championship poster.
