Chad Culbreath, a 5-10 guard from Ripley, Tennessee has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at Murray State. Culbreath is the all-time scorer at Ripley High School with more than 2,600 points.
As a senior he scored 1,168 points and averaged 27 points per game. He helped the Tigers to 105 wins in the last four seasons including advancement to the Tennessee Class 2A State Tournament semifinals in each of the last two seasons.
Culbreath played in Murray at Calloway County High School's Jeffrey Gymnasium back in December. He scored 23 of Ripley's 49 points and hit three 3-pointers in a 60-49 loss to the Lakers.
