ESPN signs Dick Vitale to extension

ESPN has signed analyst Dick Vitale to a one year extension according to SI.com. The extension will keep him the 80 year old broadcaster and former coach with the network through the 2021-22 season.

 Vitale has been with ESPN since 1979. He is a member of the basketball Hall of Fame and received a Lifetime Acheivement Award from the Emmy organization last month.

Vitale says that he would like to continue working until he is 100 years old.
