Louisville to play Ohio State in secret scrimmage

The Louisville Cardinals basketball team will host a closed-door scrimmage against Ohio State on Sunday according to various sources. No fans or media are allowed at these "secret scrimmages" and coaches are generally reluctant to discuss them.

"Some days we’re going two-a-day, we’ll have the secret scrimmage coming up and then we’ll have an exhibition game against a really good team (Bellarmine)," Mack said after last weekend's intrasquad scrimmage. "We have to be further along this year more than ever with the fact that we’re playing an ACC team to start things off."

Ohio State features 6-9 junior forward Kaleb Wesson. Wesson averaged 14.6 points and 6.9 rebounds last year and is a unanimous preseason All-Big Ten selection.

The Buckeyes are #36 in the Massey Ratings' preseason rankings.
